Policies

SPECIAL ORDERS:

  • Down payment of at least 25% is required on all special orders.
  • Quoted arrival dates on special orders are estimates. Backorders are not uncommon and may delay the arrival date up to 8 additional weeks.
  • Special Orders are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

LAYAWAY:

  • Down payment of at least 25% is required on all layaways.
  • Should a layaway remain past the layaway period, attempts will be made to contact the purchaser. Abandoned layaways will be restocked, 25% of the purchase price will kept, and a check for the remainder of the balance will be offered to the purchaser.
  • Should a cancellation occur on layaway, 25% of the purchase price on layaway will be withheld for restocking.

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES (NON-WARRANTY):

  • Special Orders are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  • Closeouts/Clearance Items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
  • In-store purchases are non-refundable; however, most furniture purchased in-store may be exchanged within
  • seven (7) days from delivery for items of equal or greater value or in-store credit, and at our discretion. Product being exchanged must be returned in new condition.
  • Mattresses without a Manufacturer’s Comfort Guarantee are non-exchangeable and non-refundable following receipt of goods, except as relates to Warranty claims.
  • Mattresses with a Manufacturer’s Comfort Guarantee are non-refundable, but may be exchanged according to Manufacturer Comfort Guarantee guidelines.
  • Cozzia massage chairs and all appliances are non-exchangeable and non-refundable after customer receipt.
  • Layaways are non-refundable. Should a cancellation occur, 25% of the purchase price will be withheld for restocking.

WARRANTY CLAIMS:

  • Proof of Purchase is required for all warranty claims.
  • We offer no warranties in addition to Manufacturer’s warranties and 3rd party protection coverage. As such, we are limited to following manufacturer guidelines. These guidelines authorize us to repair issues when covered by warranty or replace only at manufacturer’s discretion.
  • Warrantied merchandise is non-refundable; however, merchandise deemed replaceable by warranty may be exchanged for items of equal or greater value or in-store credit.
  • Transportation/Service charges are not covered under any warranty. Service calls will be subject to a service and transportation fees.

BAD CHECKS:

  • Bad checks are subject to a $35 fee per occurrence. Should the matter be turned over to the Prosecutor’s office, additional fees will apply, including a 2% interest charge per month on the balance of the purchase plus fees.

FINANCING:

  • All financing, terms, and conditions are subject to the finance provider’s guidelines. Once processed, payments on financed account are due directly to the finance provider and are not payable to Fowler’s Furniture or The Goodnight Company. Any additional fees, interest or other charges on past due accounts are at the sole discretion of the finance provider.
